This was our fourth visit so the hosts must be doing something right. New owners who are slowly improving the decor, however beds very comfortable with a good breakfast and evening meals. Although on a busy main road it has never stopped us having a good nights sleep. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Well worth staying, with good access to Scarborough, York and surrounding area. - Wendy F
Big thanks to Dale (one of the new owners) along with the girls serving meals and working behind the bar who did absolutely everything possible to help myself, my husband and our two great grandsons feel welcome, making sure we had everything we needed. Not forgetting the fabulous and friendly housekeeping team who do a wonderful job.Dale epitomizes the meaning of hospitality, always kind and interested in anything we had to say, or report back about where or what we had done for the day and what we hoped to do the next day.It was really good to see Andrew the chef again too.Big thank you to Dale and the girls for making our holiday great. The Ganton is beautiful, so inviting from the outside, and the girls and Dale providing such good hospitality services inside, what more could we ask for. Well placed for visiting many surrounding seaside resorts, activities and places of interest.Loved every minute, thank you sooo much, didn't want to leave. Would recommend to all. - Lynne H
We had the most amazing stay at this special place in the heart of North Yorkshire.So many wonderful attractions near by for days out & adventures, the hotels location is perfect to get out and about exploring.Wonderful atmosphere in the hotel with beautifully friendly staff who are always happy to help.The food was amazing and we were lucky enough to be there to sample the new menu, superb. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and set us up for our trips out.Can’t wait to visit this amazing home from home again soon.Thank you- C
